We manufacture a wide range of flexographic ink cleaners, specially formulated for each type of ink: water-based, solvent-based or UV-cured. Certified for food packaging.
Our cleaners ensure the care of clichés, rubber cylinders, anilox rollers, doctor blades, ink circuits and other flexographic machine tools.
For printing processes intended for marking food packaging, we have accredited references for use in food packaging.
Ibeslab chemicals are successfully used in all printing machines for flexible packaging, self-adhesive labels, corrugated cardboard, offset varnish towers and any packaging product where flexography is the customisation system.
Ready for use, or concentrated for adding water at the time of use in manual cleaning processes, as well as in automatic cleaning machines for items that require the removal of ink residues.
The products are distinguished by their high effectiveness in closed circuits for removing ink residues in a short period of time. We use slow-evaporating substances to reduce losses during the process and extend the detergent’s useful life. Reuse in multiple washing cycles ensures optimal product performance while lowering consumable costs.

Our products are formulated to work in cleaning equipment available on the market:
The ingredients used in our flexographic printing equipment cleaners are compatible with automatic cleaning machines. In addition, we offer a fast logistics service, reducing stocks at the customer’s premises. More information about cleaning equipment.
For daily use in manual cleaning of ink residues, we provide formulations designed for easy and effective cleaning of flexographic plates, ink cups, anilox rolls and other tools used in the flexographic printing process.
The cleaners are optimised to protect operators in their working environment, with minimal emissions into the atmosphere, creating a safe environment for staff and the environment. The components of our flexographic cleaners are selected to protect vulnerable and valuable printing elements such as clichés, rubbers and anilox cylinders.

To assist in the manual application of our products, we offer sponges, brushes, and application systems.
The anilox cylinder requires special attention in cleaning protocols due to its tendency to accumulate ink at the bottom of the cells, despite proper daily cleaning. The anilox roller is the key component for dosing ink to the plate, so it requires special periodic maintenance to thoroughly clean the ink that polymerises on it.
Por ello hemos diseñado una gran variedad de productos químicos que aseguran la eliminación de los residuos de tinta o barniz según el siguiente cuadro-resumen:

When applying flexographic cleaners, especially in manual processes, it is necessary to use certain items that facilitate good results, such as metal bristle brushes for anilox rolls or soft bristle brushes for printing plates. We also offer products for cleaning floors, regenerating Twinlock sleeves, and other special products.

Like printing inks, the products used to wash them often pose health risks to those who handle them. That is why ibeslab designs flexo cleaning chemicals with different raw materials based on water, alcohol, solvents, surfactants, glycols, etc.
Selecting those that ensure the best dissolution and removal of waste while minimising risks to health and the environment.
Many of the ingredients in cleaning products are derived from petroleum, so any reduction in their use has a positive impact. Once cleaners have fulfilled their function of removing ink residues and need to be disposed of, we find ourselves in another important scenario for reducing environmental impact and the associated costs. That is why Ibeslab’s commitment to the environment and sustainability is reflected in the design of formulations that help reduce the environmental footprint of cleaning operations.
Our technical-commercial team carries out audits at the customer’s request to propose improvements in cleaning processes for all flexographic printing systems. Detecting a wide range of improvement needs:
Ibeslab provides efficient, sustainable and safe cleaning solutions for both operators and the environment in the field of flexographic printing.
Ibeslab cleaning chemicals help improve productivity and maintain all elements of the flexographic printer.
There are several effective automatic systems, such as spray or ultrasound, using a detergent product. Manual cleaning processes ensure thorough cleaning if we use the right products and follow the guidelines we recommend.
Yes, there are water-based or concentrated fresh ink cleaners that are diluted with water and effectively remove ink residue from any flexographic equipment.
Firstly, it will depend on the type of ink used in the printer: water-based, solvent-based or UV-cured. It must have good cleaning properties, controlled evaporation and be compatible with the polymer to protect it. It must also be safe for the operator and the environment.
Not normally, as they require a different evaporation rate. In some cases, they are used with temperature and must be designed to be compatible with the machine and its operation.
