For the cleaning of solvent-based and UV-curable inks, formulations based on solvent and alcohol are generally used. Normally, manual cleaners are faster drying, and slower evaporating cleaners are used in the equipment to serve many wash cycles.
It will always be easier and quicker to clean if the ink is fresh at the end of printing, with solvent and water based inks the cleaning has to be immediate. Plastisol or UV-curable inks can be cleaned after a few hours.
Yes, ibeslab screen cleaners can be recycled using a solvent distiller for re-incorporation into the cleaning cycle, sludge and residues are managed as RTP.
